Here we tried to reconstruct an image of Bulgakov’s last study in Naschokinskiy lane apartment. This reconstruction is based on recollections of relatives and friends, photographs and drawings and above all — on the furniture from Bulgakov’s last study. By chance, 70 years after the writer’s death it arrived in the museum. We did not aim at precise reconstruction of the writer’s last study and that is not actually possible. We just tried to convey the atmosphere in which “A Theatrical Novel”, “Life of Mr. de Moliere”, “The Master and Margarita” were created.
